Great Notley FC is entirely volunteer-run. Without the time and commitment of people like you, there is no club.
Ways to get involved
Team Coach / Manager
Lead a team through the season. FA Level 1 coaching qualification or above preferred, but we can support your training.
DBS check · FA Safeguarding certificate required
Match Day Helper
Help on match days — setting up, stewarding, first aid cover, or just making sure everything runs smoothly.
DBS check required
Groundskeeper / Facilities
Help maintain our pitches and facilities. Marking lines, setting up goals, general maintenance.
No formal qualifications needed
Club Committee
Join the committee and help shape the direction of the club. Roles include secretary, treasurer, welfare, press, and general committee members.
DBS check required for some roles
Club Photographer / Media
Capture match day moments and help manage our social media presence. Photo consent must be confirmed for any images involving players.

Kit & Equipment Co-ordinator
Manage kit orders, laundry rotas, and equipment inventory. A great role for someone organised who wants to contribute without being pitch-side every week.
No formal qualifications needed
DBS & Safeguarding
All volunteers working directly with children must hold a current FA DBS Enhanced Disclosure and a valid FA Safeguarding Children certificate. We will guide you through the process — it's straightforward and the club covers the cost.
