Great Notley FC Embraces FA Future Fit

As members of the Blackwater & Dengie League and Essex FA, Great Notley FC is adopting the FA's Future Fit changes as they are introduced — and we see this as a hugely positive step forward for grassroots football.

FA Future Fit is the Football Association's long-term plan to reform the grassroots game, ensuring every child gets more touches of the ball, more enjoyment, and a better foundation for their football journey. Key changes include smaller-sided formats for younger age groups — including the introduction of 3v3 football — designed to maximise involvement and development at the earliest stages of the game.

At GNFC, player development and enjoyment have always come first. These changes align closely with our own values and the way we already approach coaching across all our age groups. We look forward to embracing the new formats and continuing to give every player the best possible start in football.
